Anna Prandoni, a journalist and a writer, has been busy in the wine and food sector for over 15 years, devoting a particular attention to the nutrition history and its influence on the Italian culture and society.

Since 2015 she has been in charge with the direction of the Gualtiero Marchesi Academy.

Since 2014 she has been Ambassador of the WE project – women for Expo.


A very smart digital devices user, she is the creative director of onerecipeaday, of milanosecrets.it and of the community gathering project mypotluck.it. She also teaches how to make use of social media in the food sector. She was present as a speaker at the Social Media Week Milan 2015.

In November 2015 her first cooking book in American language will be published under the label of Quarry Books http://www.amazon.com/Kids-Cook-Italian-cucinano-italiano/dp/1631590634. It deals with traditional Italian recipes to be made with the help of younger people.

She has written many books on the topic “food” and has curated a recipe and gluttonous routes heading for the Lombardy pages in the Corriere della Sera.

She has also worked together with L’Espresso as an inspector of the Guide of the magazine and also with IdentitĂ  Golose.

Since 2000 she directed the Scuola de la Cucina Italiana, since 2007 she was Web Editor of www.lacucinaitaliana.it , developing the digital segment with app and social networks, thus getting to the head of the magazine La Cucina Italiana which she then quitted in March 2015.

She has been the writer and the main character of some video formats devised and conducted for the TV web channel of La Cucina Italiana: http://www.lacucinaitaliana.it/video/ricette/verdure/in-cucina-con-anna-pizza-insalata-e-crumble
